You never said I’m leaving,
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it,
Only God knows why.

Here I sit, tears rolling down my cheeks,
Here I sit feeling broken and shattered,
How would I ever cope without you?
How will I stand head straight when my Whole body and soul has gone into mourning?

I am no longer caressed by your love
But now caressed by my own tears
The cage of tears has been let loose,
They seem not to stop rolling down my cold cheeks.

Hot tears on my cold cheeks
A million times I needed you
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you own a place,
That no one could ever fill.

It broke my heart to lose you
God ease your pain,
But broke my heart the day he took you home,
A part of me died the day you gave up the ghost.
