QUESTION SERIES: Are you making dust or eating dust?

When you run in place everyone will pass you by. Failure most successful strategy is procrastination✍️

Now is the best time to be alive and productive. if you want to make an easy job seem difficult, just keep putting off doing it👌

Joseph Newton said, “A duty dodged is like a debt unpaid; it is only deferred and we must come back and settle the account at last.”

What holds people back? There are those of us who are always ‘about‘ to live.

We’re waiting on the things change, until there is more time, until we are less tired, until we get a promotion, until we settle down— until, until, until.

It always seems that there is some major event that must occur in our lives before we start living💯

One of these days is really none of these days.

Do not allow Idleness to deceive you; for while you give him today, he steals tomorrow from you” (H. Crowquill)

Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging-on of an uncompleted task.

What the fool does in the end, the wise person does in the beginning. Start, it’s what will set you apart.

Judges Commentary

1. Sufficient

1. Relevance to Theme: 9/10

Strong Connection to the Theme – The poem beautifully explores love, dreams, and colors, which directly align with the theme.
Echoes of Dreams – The poem captures the lingering presence of dreams, emotions, and memories, making the “echoes” concept feel organic.
Rich Color Symbolism – Gold, red, violet, sapphire, green, amber, and indigo all enhance the color aspect of the theme.

💡 Suggestion: A reference to colors appearing and reappearing in dreams could strengthen the connection to echoes.

2. Language and Word Choice: 5/6

Sophisticated and Poetic Diction – The language is elegant, lyrical, and thought-provoking, fitting the theme perfectly.
Evocative and Sensory-Rich – Phrases like “the red of words left unsaid” and “stars that fluttered words we never had the courage to tell” are powerful and emotive.

🔹 Some Lines Slightly Abstract – A few sections, like “ghostly laughter of end-of-days wheezing,” could be more concrete or fluid to improve clarity.

💡 Suggestion: Simplify or refine certain abstract phrases to maintain the flow without losing depth.

3. Imagery and Emotional Impact: 5/6

Stunning and Vivid Imagery – The use of color as a metaphor for love, memory, and dreams is masterful.
Deep Emotional Resonance – The contrast between warmth (amber, gold) and mystery/loss (indigo, twilight) enhances the poem’s emotional depth.

🔹 Could Push the Contrast Further – The light vs. dark, past vs. present, spoken vs. unspoken themes are present but could be slightly sharpened for even greater impact.

💡 Suggestion: Perhaps a stronger climactic moment in the final stanza before the quiet ending.

4. Structure and Form: 6/8

Well-Organized Free Verse – The structure flows naturally, without feeling rigid while maintaining balance.
Strong Progression – The poem moves from questions to reflection to a final, poignant conclusion.

🔹 Some Stanzas Feel Slightly Uneven – The first stanza is compact, while later stanzas expand, creating a slight imbalance.

💡 Suggestion: Minor restructuring or breaking longer stanzas into shorter, breath-like segments for smoother pacing.

5. Flow and Rhythm: 4/6

Lyrical and Fluid – The poem’s cadence mimics an echoing, dreamlike quality.
Gentle, Reflective Rhythm – The natural pauses and enjambment contribute to the dreamy tone.

🔹 A Few Lines Disrupt the Smooth Flow – Some phrasing feels a bit denser or more complex than necessary, slightly affecting rhythm.

💡 Suggestion: A slight revision of certain long lines to maintain a seamless flow.

6. Grammar and Mechanics: 3/4

Minimal Grammar Issues – The poem is well-written and polished, with almost no grammatical errors.
Intentional Stylistic Choices – The lack of punctuation in some places adds to the dreamlike quality rather than feeling incorrect.

🔹 One or Two Slightly Awkward Constructions – For example, “Will they echo in spectral green’s” should likely be “Will they echo in spectral greens” (removing the apostrophe).

💡 Suggestion: A final light proofread for small refinements.

1. POEM TITLE RELEVANCE

I’d rate this poem 7/10 for relevance to the theme “Echoes of Dreams in Color.” Here’s why:

✅ Colorful Imagery – The poem uses vibrant language, referencing prisms, gold, vibrant shades, and creativity, which ties well to the idea of color in dreams.

Dreamlike and Hopeful Tone – It conveys a sense of dreams, love, and imagination, which aligns with the concept of “echoes of dreams.”

Emotional Depth – The themes of love, unity, and vision for a better future add richness to the dreamlike quality.

The poem beautifully captures dreams, love, and color but could emphasize echoes (reverberations of past dreams or lingering emotions) more.

2. CREATIVITY AND ORIGINALITY (10)

No Ai Generated, 100% human

3. LANGUAGE AND WORD CHOICE  (4/10)

Vivid and Romantic Tone – The poem uses rich, emotive language that creates a dreamy and heartfelt atmosphere. Words like “prism,” “shine,” “gold,” “vibrant,” and “masterpiece” contribute to a colorful, hopeful theme.

Poetic and Evocative – Phrases like “A masterpiece of moments, painted vibrant and bold” and “Dreams whisper secrets that keep my heart awake” are beautifully expressive and poetic.

Consistent Theme of Love and Imagination – The choice of words stays true to the theme of love, dreams, and creativity.

The poem has beautiful language and a strong emotional pull, but refining grammar, flow, and word precision would elevate it even further.

4. IMAGERY AND EMOTIONAL IMPACT (5/6)

Vivid and Colorful Imagery – The poem effectively paints a picture of dreams, love, and creativity using words like “prism,” “gold,” “vibrant,” “painted,” and “shades.” These create a visual and emotional connection to the theme “Echoes of Dreams in Color.”

Emotional Depth and Warmth – The poem is filled with love, hope, and togetherness. Lines like:

  • “A masterpiece of moments, painted vibrant and bold”
  • “Where heart beats as one and love’s the only language our hearts have made”
evoke deep feelings of connection and unity.

Dreamlike Quality – The poem successfully captures the essence of dreams through words like “whispers secrets,” “vision of tomorrow,” and “paradise of love.” This gives it a soft, ethereal feel.

The poem does a great job of creating warm, colorful, and dreamlike imagery, but more sensory details, contrast, and echoes of the past would make it even more powerful.

5. STRUCTURE AND FORM (5/8)

Consistent Rhyme Scheme – The poem maintains a rhyming pattern that enhances its lyrical quality. While not perfectly structured, it adds a pleasant rhythm to the flow.

Quatrains Create Order – The poem is mostly structured in four-line stanzas, which provide a sense of balance and coherence.

Readable and Flowy – Despite some rough spots, the poem has a natural movement that helps carry the theme of dreams and love forward.

The poem’s structure is solid, but refining the meter, flow, and progression would enhance readability and impact.

6. Flow and Rhythm: (4/6)

Pleasant Rhyme Scheme – The poem follows a consistent rhyming pattern, making it sound lyrical and smooth.

Gentle, Dreamlike Movement – The poem carries a natural flow, aligning with the dreamy theme.

🔹 Inconsistent Syllable Count – Some lines feel too long or too short, which disrupts the rhythm. Examples:

  • “We’ll design a world, where priceless moments are the currency we trade”
→ This line is longer than others and throws off the pacing.
  • “Where creativity flows like stream / And imagination knows no dream”
→ The second line feels incomplete.

🔹 Choppy Transitions – Some ideas shift abruptly instead of flowing smoothly into the next. Refining line breaks and wording could improve cohesion.

💡 Suggestion: Try reading the poem out loud and adjusting lines so they have a more even beat and flow.

7. Grammar And Mechanics: (2/4)
Mostly Clear and Understandable – The poem’s meaning is easy to grasp.

Consistent Verb Tenses – The poem mostly stays in the correct tense.

🔹 Grammar Issues & Agreement Errors – Some phrases have grammatical mistakes that affect readability. Examples:

  • “Dreams whispers secrets, that keeps my heart awake”
→ Should be “Dreams whisper secrets that keep my heart awake.” (subject-verb agreement)
  • “Where heart beat as one and love’s the only language our heart have made”
→ Should be “Where hearts beat as one, and love’s the only language our hearts have made.”

🔹 Punctuation Issues – Some lines use unnecessary commas, while others need better punctuation for clarity.

💡 Suggestion: Proofreading carefully or using a grammar-checking tool would help catch small errors.

3. OloriEbi

1. Relevance to Theme: 9/10

Directly Ties to “Echoes,” “Dreams,” and “Color” – The poem strongly reflects dreams, memories, and their lingering presence.
Beautiful Use of Colors as Emotion – The poem describes love through colors, light, and shadow, aligning with the theme perfectly.
Strong “Echo” Motif – Phrases like “dreams echo past” and “painting the present with echoes of light” emphasize the idea of memories and reflections.

🔹 Minor Area for Enhancement – While the theme is well-explored, more contrasting imagery (e.g., fading vs. returning colors, lost vs. found dreams) could enhance the depth.

💡 Suggestion: A reference to colors shifting, distorting, or blending like echoes could strengthen the theme even further.

2. Language and Word Choice: 5/6

Elegant and Poetic Language – The diction is graceful, lyrical, and evocative.
Rich, Thoughtful Phrasing – Lines like “Memories gather like stars in the night, constellations of all that remains” are stunning and deeply poetic.

🔹 Slightly Traditional Word Choices – While beautiful, some phrases like “battles lost and won” and “love first appears” feel somewhat conventional compared to the rest of the poem.

💡 Suggestion: A few unique word choices or surprising metaphors could make the language even more striking.

3. Imagery and Emotional Impact: 5/6

Powerful Visuals – The interplay of light, shadow, and color creates a dreamy, almost ethereal atmosphere.
Strong Emotional Depth – The poem balances nostalgia, longing, and warmth beautifully.

🔹 Could Use More Sensory Elements – The imagery is mostly visual (color, light, stars). Adding textures (soft, sharp), sounds (whispers, echoes), or movement (fading, pulsing, shifting) could deepen the emotional resonance.

💡 Suggestion: A reference to colors “fading,” “shimmering,” or “melting” could make the dreamlike effect even stronger.

4. Structure and Form: 7/8

Well-Organized Stanzas – The poem flows naturally, with each stanza developing the theme further.
Smooth Transitions Between Ideas – The poem progresses logically, moving from love’s emergence to memories and dreams.

🔹 A Slightly Tighter Ending Would Enhance Impact – The final stanza is beautiful, but a slightly stronger closing line could leave an even deeper impression.

💡 Suggestion: Instead of “Memories that tint the edges of years,” consider a more conclusive, resounding final thought.

5. Flow and Rhythm: 5/6

Graceful, Lyrical Flow – The poem’s rhythm feels natural and poetic without being forced.
Good Use of Enjambment – The lines flow smoothly, making it easy to read aloud.

🔹 A Few Slightly Longer Lines Affect the Cadence – Some lines, like “A rainbow of emotions where beauty shines through,” feel a little longer than the surrounding ones, slightly disrupting the flow.

💡 Suggestion: Trimming or breaking some longer lines into shorter, rhythmic segments could enhance the musicality.

6. Grammar and Mechanics: 3/4

Well-Polished Grammar and Structure – The poem reads smoothly with minimal errors.
Intentional Use of Punctuation and Line Breaks – The breaks and pauses are effective in guiding the reader.

🔹 Tiny Refinements Possible – The phrase “where beauty shines through” could be tightened slightly for better flow.

💡 Suggestion: A final light proofread could help with any tiny tweaks for absolute clarity.

7. CREATIVITY (2/10)

Ai detector shows 75% Ai and 25% Human

4. Thatshortgurl

1. Relevance to Theme: 6/10

Touches on Love and Renewal – Love, appreciation, and renewal are present, which can relate to dreams and colors in a broad sense.
Mentions of Light and Rays – Phrases like “the rays of love, shining upon you” contribute to the color aspect.

🔹 Missing a Strong “Echoes” and “Dreams” Connection – The poem doesn’t fully explore echoes, dreams, or a deep color palette.

💡 Suggestion: Incorporating memories, reflections, or references to past emotions resurfacing would strengthen the “echoes” part of the theme.

2. Language and Word Choice: 3/6

Simple and Clear – The poem uses easy-to-understand, heartfelt language.
Some Poetic Phrasing – Lines like “Love is never too far to reach you” are warm and inviting.

🔹 Clichés and Common Phrases

  • “Love is like the wind,” and “Love isn’t something you find, love is something that finds you,” are well-known sayings, making the poem feel less unique.
  • The first stanza is the classic “Roses are red” poem, which might not feel original.

💡 Suggestion: Use more unique metaphors or fresh word choices to make the poem stand out.

3. Imagery and Emotional Impact: 3/6

Has a Warm, Loving Tone – The poem conveys affection and appreciation well.
Gentle Visual Elements – Mentions of rays of love, dawn, and embracing warmth help create soft imagery.

🔹 Limited Colorful or Dreamlike Imagery – The poem doesn’t paint a strong visual picture or deeply explore colors in an emotional way.
🔹 Lacks Deep Emotional Build-Up – The poem talks about love generally but doesn’t create a strong emotional arc.

💡 Suggestion: Adding more sensory details (sights, sounds, textures) and personal experiences would enhance impact.

4. Structure and Form: 5/8

Divided into Stanzas Clearly – The poem follows a clear organization, making it easy to read.

🔹 First Stanza Feels Disconnected – The classic “Roses are red” format feels separate from the rest of the poem, making the transition abrupt.
🔹 Uneven Line Lengths – Some lines are much longer than others, making the rhythm feel slightly off.
🔹 Punctuation Could Be Improved – Example:

  • “A day we gift and express Our profound gratitude to Our loved one’s.” → Should be “A day we gift and express our profound gratitude to our loved ones.”

💡 Suggestion: Maintain consistent line length and ensure smooth transitions between ideas.

5. Flow and Rhythm: 3/6

Some Gentle Flowing Moments – Certain lines move well, especially in the middle and end.

🔹 Choppy Transitions – The first stanza and Valentine’s section feel slightly separate from the rest.
🔹 Uneven Rhythm – Some lines are much longer than others, making the poem less smooth when read aloud.

💡 Suggestion: Adjust line breaks and smoother transitions for a more musical rhythm.

6. Grammar and Mechanics: 2/4

Basic Grammar is Clear – The poem is readable and understandable.

🔹 Grammar Issues in Multiple Lines

  • “A day we gift and express Our profound gratitude to Our loved one’s.”“A day we gift and express our profound gratitude to our loved ones.”
  • “Shinning upon you and a small still voice,”“Shining upon you, and a small, still voice,”

🔹 Unnecessary Capitalization

  • “Our loved one’s” → Should be “our loved ones.”
  • “Our profound gratitude” → “our profound gratitude.”

💡 Suggestion: A final proofread for punctuation, capitalization, and sentence clarity would improve readability.

INFINITY IN FULL COLOUR

INFINITY IN FULL COLOUR

In the prism of memories, love’s colour unfold
A place where love and dreams forever shine like gold
They show hope, in a world that can be grey
And remind us of undefiled love, in a special way

A masterpiece of moments, painted vibrant and bold
With unique shades of love, that only we can hold
Where creativity flows like stream
And imagination knows no dream

Dreams whispers secrets, that keeps my heart awake
A vision of tomorrow, where love’s colour at stake
We’ll design a world, where priceless moments are the currency we trade
Where heart beat as one and love’s the only language our heart have made

So let’s close our eyes and see the world anew
In a world, where love shines bright and true
Let’s make our dreams, a wild reality we can see
In a paradise of love, where you and I are forever entwined and free

Echoes of colorful dreams 🎇

Echoes of colorful dreams 🎇

In the blush of dawn, love first appears,
Painting the sky with whispers and cheers.
In dreams, where past and present entwine,
Shadows take shape in a soft, golden shine.

Dreams echo past in twilight’s embrace,
Whispers of moments time can’t erase.
Yet love persists in vibrant streams,
Weaving life from silent dreams.

In visions, secrets unfold,
Where shadows speak in hues untold.
Each color a story softly spun,
Reflecting passion, battles lost and won.

Memories gather like stars in the night,
Constellations of all that remains.
Though some fade to darkness, lost to our sight,
Their warmth lingers on in the heart’s quiet flames.

Each memory, a brushstroke bright,
Painting the present with echoes of light.
In this fusion of shadow and gleam,
We weave the colors of a shared dream.

If love were a color, it would be a symphony of hues,
A rainbow of emotions where beauty shines through.
Vibrant sketches of laughter and tears,
Memories that tint the edges of years.

Poem

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Sugar is sweet,
And so is Love.

Love is like the wind,
Love isn’t something you find,
Love is something that finds you.

Valentine,
A day of appreciation,
A day full of love.
A day we gift and express Our profound gratitude to Our loved one’s.

Love is never too far to reach you,
Nor your voice too low for it to hear you.
Upon a closer look, the rays of love.
Shinning upon you and a small still voice,
Deep down saying; It is time for you to love!
And to renew your love for your loved one’s.

With warm hand embracing a cold skin,
So we love against all odds.
It is a new dawn with new promises,
New beginning with renewed love.
Wake up, step out and feel the love in the air.

Echoes of Dreams

Echoes of Dreams

If love had a color,
would it bleed from the edges of memory,
gentle as the gold of a dying sun,
or harsh as the red of words left unsaid?
Would it glitter in the violet whisper of twilight,
between night and daylight or dream and wanting?

If dreams had voices,
Would they murmur in sapphire tones,
telling all the truths we knew but forgot we knew?
Or will they echo in spectral green’s
like ghostly laughter of end-of-days wheezing?
Was it not wealth to remind us of love before it disappeared into mist?

If love once was amber—
warm, with the heat of autumn days,
hands like lines in a poem.
Later it became indigo—dark, unknowable,
the night sky swelled with unuttered secrets,
stars that fluttered words we never had the courage to tell.

Then dreams—
unravel like watercolors,
translating past into present,
shedding secrets on the palette of our heart.
Do they paint us with the colors we’ve lost?
Do they bleed our silence into the longings that echoes unspoken?

Tell me,
when morning comes, rose-hued and gentle,
will love still reside in the colors of our hours?
Or slip away into still dawns, grays so serene,
a whisper, echo, or dreams unborn?

QUESTION SERIES: Are you known by the promises you don’t keep?

“Lies Die Hard”

Broken promises causes the world’s greatest accidents. You can’t make wrong work🤌

Thomas Jefferson said, “Honesty is the first chapter of the book of wisdom.”

Never chase a lie: if you leave it alone, it will run itself to death. Everything you add to the truth, you inevitably subtract from it✍️.

It is discouraging to think how people nowadays are more shocked by honesty than by deceit.😲

We punish ourselves with every lie and we reward ourselves with every right action. A lie will add to your troubles, subtract from your energy, multiply your difficulties, and divide your effectiveness💯.

Never view anything positively that makes you break your word. Make your word your bond❤️.

Truth exists. Only lies are created. “If you continue to do what’s right, what’s wrong and who’s wrong will eventually leave your life” (David Blunt)

QUESTION SERIES: What is one thing you can do for someone else who has no opportunity to repay you?

“Serve High and Low”

Serving others is one of life’s most awesome privileges✍️.

Hunt for the good points in people. Remember that they have to do the same in your case. Then do something to help them. If you want get ahead, be a bridge 🌉 not a wall 🧱

Dr Frank Crane said, “The golden rule is of no use unless you realize that is your move.”

Each human being presents is with an opportunity to serve👌.

John Andrew Holmes said, “The entire population of the universe, with one trifling exception, is composed of others “

Do you want to get along better with others?
Be a little kinder than necessary. When you share, you do not lessen, but increase your life❤️.

True leadership begins with servanthood. None have one chance in a billion of being thought of as really great a century after they’re gone except those who have been servants of all💯.

#QuestionSeries✍️ #WhyAskWhy🤔 #Day 21✅💯

QUESTION SERIES: Is fear causing you to run from something that isn’t after you?

Never trouble trouble until trouble troubles you.

Arthur Roche said, “Worry is a thin stream of fear trickling through the mind. If encouraged, it cuts a channel into which all other thoughts are drained.”

Dr. Rob Gilbert advised, “It’s all right to have butterflies in your stomach. Just get them to fly in formation.”

The great evangelist Billy Sunday said, “Dear knocked at my door. Faith answered…. and there was no one there.” Now that’s the proper response to fear 👌

Fear can keep you from going where you could have won. Don’t let your fear steal from you and prevent you from pursuing your dream😨

Most people people believe their doubts and doubts their beliefs. So, do like the old saying and “feed your faith and let your doubts starve to death.”

Worry is a route that leads from somewhere to nowhere; never let it direct your direct your life.
